As many of you know, I will soon be deploying overseas to Kosovo. This is a small region of Serbia in the Balkans, in what was formerly called Yugoslavia. NATO has a peacekeeping contingent there composed of many nations to prevent a civil war from erupting between the different ethnic groups. I will be there for about a year.
As my deployment date draws closer, my thoughts have focused almost exclusively on three subjects: God, family, and country. Pastor Bob introduced me to a song including these elements, and I made a video to accompany the music. I want to share this video with you.
Beware, this is very powerful and may evoke a significant emotional reaction.
God bless you and thanks for visiting
Your right, very emotional. I am praying for you and your family and I thank you very much for sacrificing so much of your life in order to protect ours. Anything we can do please let me know.
Your grateful brother…

Always keeping you in prayer brother. May God grant you extra strength and make your guardian angel mighty and vigilant. May God also keep your family safe until your return. I am proud and grateful to call you friend and brother. Your witness for Christ is shining bright.
Grace and Peace Shannon.

Shannon: Your presentation was very powerful! You, Frances, and the kids will be in my constant prayers as you serve in Kosovo. It seems like yesterday when we watched you leave for Iraq and we all prayed for your safe return. I am sure the same will happen again and you will return home safe and sound from Kosovo. Remember who you are and what you stand for. A lot can be told about a person by their actions and the way they live their life. Just think of the positive impact that you can have on the people of Kosovo by being a part of their peacekeeping strategy. Hopefully, one day we can all live in a peaceful world…
Your cousin,
Stephanie

Shannon, I am a very close friend to your mother. I also work for the same company. We became close back in 2003 when she called me one day after she became aware that my husband, Terry was also in Iraq. Over these years I have becore very close to your mother. Even tho we are a few miles apart, we still are close in the hearts. My prayers are for you while you are gone and for Frances and the children. I know your oldest son will be a good watchdog for you while you are gone. Just know that God will be there watching over you and protecting you as well as your loved ones. Your mother will keep me informed and my prayers will continue. I am so proud of you for serving our Country as you do. My husband will be retiring next month. He will leave with many fond memories and will never forget his experiences! You take care and God Bless You!!!
